The short answer. On 26 October 2026, for 7 days in Morocco with at least 5GB, the cheapest eSIM among the brands we compare was Sirocco (€9.00), ahead of Airalo (€9.50). For unlimited data over 7 days, the cheapest of the brands we compare was Sirocco (€27.00), ahead of Airalo (€28.50). For a family of four with 5GB each, Sirocco (€32.40) came in ahead of Airalo (€38.00).

eSIMeter is published by Mocom SAS, which also sells Sirocco eSIMs. The ranking rule is the same for every brand, and it's published at the bottom of this page.

1. Solo, 7 days, at least 5GB

Rank Brand Plan Price Price per GB
1 Sirocco 5GB, 7 days €9.00 €1.80
2 Airalo 5GB, 7 days €9.50 €1.90
— Holafly no 5GB plan: unlimited only — —

2. Unlimited, 7 days

Rank Brand Price Price per day Full speed, as published by the brand
1 Sirocco €27.00 €3.86 1GB a day, then 512 kbps
2 Airalo €28.50 €4.07 up to 3GB a day, then slower speeds
3 Holafly €29.90 €4.27 the local network may slow you down after a certain volume, for one day at most

Here too, Sirocco is the cheapest of the brands we compare: €1.50 less than Airalo.

"Unlimited" doesn't mean without limits. Each brand sets a daily amount of data at full speed, after which the connection slows down. Holafly also limits hotspot use to 1GB a day in Morocco. If you stream a lot of video, compare the full-speed allowance as well as the price: among the brands that publish a figure, Airalo's is the largest.

3. Family: four travellers, 7 days

Brand 4 × 5GB 4 × unlimited
Sirocco (10% off from 3 eSIMs) €32.40 €97.20
Airalo €38.00 €114.00
Holafly no 5GB plan €119.60

With 5GB each, Sirocco is the cheapest of the brands we compare, thanks to its group discount. For unlimited data for four too, by €16.80 ahead of Airalo. Our 26/10/2026 check found a public group discount only at Sirocco: for the other brands, the total is the single price multiplied by four.

Before you buy, for Morocco

  • Does your plan include Morocco? If it does, you don't need an eSIM. If it doesn't, roaming can be expensive: £8 a day with Vodafone and with Three (customers who joined or upgraded since 18 December 2025), €4.99 per MB with eir in Ireland; EE and O2 switch data off unless you buy an add-on (price lists read on 26/10/2026).
  • Every phone must support eSIM: an EID number should appear in the settings (iPhone: Settings > General > About, EID line; Android: Settings > About phone > SIM status, EID line; the path varies by brand).
  • Install the eSIM at home, on Wi-Fi, before you leave. Once there, turn on roaming for the eSIM only.
  • Desert and mountains: download offline maps before your excursions.
